Dawes Psychiatry

Dr. Thomas Dawes Jr, MD has been a practicing family physician on the central coast for over 25 years. His experience in primary care, coupled with the global pandemic, exposed the amount of people suffering from mental health concerns and the lack of psychiatry services in our community. He experienced first hand how many of his own patients struggled to find support and resources for their mental health concerns. Dr. Dawes completed his psychiatry fellowship in 2020 at UC Davis and UC Irvine, and has extended his primary care practice to serve patients struggling with mental health and substance use disorders. 

Dr. Dawes treats his patient with one primary goal: improve functioning to be able to live your best life.
